As I tend to like bigger, stronger cigars, my cousin brought this one to our monthly cigar-gathering: La Flor Domenicana Double Ligero Madoro, nicknamed 'Digger'.
Despite it's size (8,5 inch with a ring gauge of 60), it's a perfectly constructed cigar, with a impeccable, dark, leathery and oily wrapper, with no visible seams, but with some beautiful nerves.
From the initial cut to the very last puff this Double Ligero leafed cigar ensures a very enjoyable experience with an almost perfect draw and burn. It's a strong cigar, without a doubt, but when smoked slowly not overpowering at all. In my case (I'm a slow smoker), this cigars lasts around 4 hours.
The notes of wood, peppery spices and chocolate are nicely balanced.
All in all, this is a top notch cigar, that I will smoke - time permitting - on a regular base!
